Due to the COVID-19 Safer at Home order, the Department of Natural Resources is suspending all burning permits until further notice to protect the health and safety of Wisconsinites.  The Town of Bloomer is following this action and is suspending all burning permits until further notice.  All burning of debris in barrels, burning of debris piles on the ground, grass or wooded areas is prohibited at this time.

The Nation is in a state of national emergency fighting a deadly pandemic virus called Covid-19.  The situation remains very fluid as government officials seek to balance the outbreak with economic shutdown.   The Township is doing their part and adjusting to Social Distancing and other CDC guidelines while attempting to continue to support the needs of the population.  To that end, please note that all Zoning permit requests will be handled via email, phone, and the postal system until further notice.  All non-essential Planning Commission meetings will postponed.  All essential required meetings will observe Social Distancing, or be conducted via a call-in conference line.”

The Town Board meets monthly, the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:30 pm. The Town Board meetings are held at the Town of Bloomer Town hall located at 21281 State Highway 40, Bloomer, WI. The public is encouraged to attend.
